Renowned food writer, writing coach, author, and freelance editor with a host of experience in the publishing industry, Dianne Jacob was an exceptional addition to the DIWC roster.
Along with one-to-one sessions, Dianne held a fun workshop, ‘Blogging for Foodies’, on the tips and tricks of writing a food blog, detailing her own background in blogging and sharing the essentials in making a blog work.
Her most anticipated session was the ‘Get Your Non-Fiction Published’ workshop. Having been on both sides of the table – as a writer looking to get published, and as an editor with several publications – Dianne was able to convey the nitty-gritties of putting your best foot forward when pitching an article or feature.
The Exclusive Lunch with Dianne at the World Trade Club was a packed event with budding writers and food enthusiasts representing a variety of nationalities in attendance. With exceptional views of Dubai surrounding them, the attendees enjoyed a scrumptious meal while listening to Dianne’s amusing anecdotes about food, her history and writing.
